Built by Aviation Professionals, for Aviation Professionals
Since 1995, Fast Air has been a trusted name in Canadian business aviation, offering charter, management, maintenance, and sales services. With operations in Winnipeg and Abbotsford, our team is built by aviators who understand the industry from the inside out. Rooted in a legacy that began in the 1950s, we’ve grown through a culture of collaboration, safety, and service—delivering better, not bigger, aviation experiences.

Dylan Fast grew up immersed in aviation and became a commercial pilot, gaining experience flying in northern Manitoba and running aviation-adjacent businesses—laying the groundwork for Fast Air.

Fast Air Ltd. was founded by Dylan and Reg Fast, starting with the management of a private aircraft, a Piper Cheyenne, and operations began out of #5 Allen Dyne Road at Winnipeg International Airport.

The first King Air 200 was purchased and the company acquired property at 80 Hangar Line Road to serve as FastAir's headquaters.
Fast Air entered business jet operations with the management of a Westwind 1, soon followed by a second. The King Air fleet also expanded by 3 more aircraft.

Fast Air Medevac was launched, providing life-saving air ambulance services. Bases were established in Winnipeg, Thompson, Island Lake, and Norway House. The division would later be renamed to Vanguard Air Care in 2017.

Fast Air purchased and rebranded the Esso Avitat as the FastAir Jet Centre, starting its FBO services and fuel operations.

FastAir begins operations in Toronto out of Billy Bishop Airport, offering VIP charter services.

A state-of-the-art hangar and FBO facility in Abbotsford was completed—supporting continued growth in fleet and charter services.

Construction of a new and deluxe 25,000 sq ft maintenance hangar is completed.

Fast Air marks 30 years of service with a refreshed brand and modern look.
A Journey from One Aircraft to a Leading Fleet
Dylan Fast, now President and CEO of Fast Air, earned his pilot’s license and started flying for the family company. When the aircraft wasn’t in use, he saw an opportunity: provide charter flights to others. What started with a Piper Cheyenne grew into a fleet of Chieftains, then a King Air 200, and today includes a full line of King Air turboprops and business jets.
That same entrepreneurial spirit still guides us — blending innovation, service, and purpose in everything we do.
