We require someone with a good understanding of the CAR’s as it pertains to company operations and maintenance department. King Air experience coupled with business jet experience would be considered an asset. As the Lead... Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – M1/M2 (Abbotsford)Aircraft Types: King Air, CJ3, PC 12 The OpportunityFast Air is looking for a full time lead AME at our Abbotsford location. As the Lead AME you will be responsible for coordinating with the main base in Winnipeg to ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is completed in accordance with the requirements of the MPM, MCM, QAM and the CAR’s. You will be expected to coordinate with local Operations, FBO personnel and external vendors. Training of Fast Air personnel for compliance with the MCM is an expectation. This supervisory role requires oversight of external vendors and their compliance with the MPM, MCM and QAM. As this is a growing operation, flexibility in your work hours is a requirement. Flexibility, great verbal and written communication skills and self-direction are key to your success. The Ideal CandidateThis opportunity requires a fully licensed AME with M1 and M2. Experience on the King Air and Cessna Jets is an asset. Candidates with Citation CJ3 experience will be considered an asset. The ability to work on other aircraft as the fleet grows is necessary. Knowledge of WinAir, CAMP, and other maintenance and tracking software is beneficial. Previous supervisory experience such as lead hand or crew chief required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills have been demonstrated in previous positions. You are self-motivated and a team player with the ability to prioritize your duties and responsibilities. You are adept at managing your time and are flexible with your schedule to meet operational requirements. This can include travel to support the aircraft in North America. You have an excellent understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulation as it pertains to the Fast Air MPM, MCM and QAM. Salary: $75K to $90K dependent on experience.
