The Position:

• Operate company equipment, in a safe and productive manner

Requirements:

• Must poses Commercial Pilot License
• Must obtain Restricted Area Identification Card within 40 days of hire (RAIC)
• Must maintain a valid passport
• Meet the requirements under 704/703/604
• Minimum of 2000 hours on fixed wing aircraft, with 750 hours as PIC
• Minimum 500 hours Multi- Engine and 50 hours instrument
• Must hold a current King Air 200 Captain’s PPC (Preference to for G-1000 avionics)

The Position: We are currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer- M- and licences M1, and M2 is preferred. We require someone with a good understanding of the CAR’s as it pertains to company operations and maintenance department. King Air experience coupled with business jet experience would be considered an asset. • Conducts aircraft maintenance in accordance with the applicable regulations, policies and procedures

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for transporting passengers, patients and cargo, flying a Medevac fleet of aircraft consisting of a variety of aircraft on a flexible, full time basis, accommodating an irregular flight schedule. Also responsible for coordinating with flight crews, air traffic controllers etc.; generating flight plans; observing weather patterns; and other duties as assigned. Maintains a professional demeanour at all times, providing excellent customer service to passengers and crew.

Position Requirements:

• Airline Transport Pilot License
• Minimum of 500 hours of PIC
• Licensed, or qualified to be licensed, as Air Ambulance Pilot by the Province of Manitoba.
• Must be fluent and able to write in English.

Successful applicants will be required to sign a King Air training bond unless they already have an existing type rating for the King Air 200 (BE20).

The Opportunity

Fast Air is looking for a full time lead AME at our Abbotsford location. As the Lead AME you will be responsible for coordinating with the main base in Winnipeg to ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is completed in accordance with the requirements of the MPM, MCM, QAM and the CAR’s. You will be expected to coordinate with local Operations, FBO personnel and external vendors. Training of Fast Air personnel for compliance with the MCM is an expectation. This supervisory role requires oversight of external vendors and their compliance with the MPM, MCM and QAM. As this is a growing operation, flexibility in your work hours is a requirement. Flexibility, great verbal and written communication skills and self-direction are key to your success.

The Ideal Candidate

This opportunity requires a fully licensed AME with M1 and M2.  Experience on the King Air and Cessna Jets is an asset. Candidates with Citation CJ3 experience will be considered an asset. The ability to work on other aircraft as the fleet grows is necessary. Knowledge of WinAir, CAMP, and other maintenance and tracking software is beneficial. Previous supervisory experience such as lead hand or crew chief required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills have been demonstrated in previous positions.  You are self-motivated and a team player with the ability to prioritize your duties and responsibilities.  You are adept at managing your time and are flexible with your schedule to meet operational requirements.  This can include travel to support the aircraft in North America. You have an excellent understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulation as it pertains to the Fast Air MPM, MCM and QAM.

Salary: $75K to $90K dependent on experience.
