Educate hiring managers on accessibility and how they can ensure a barrier-free hiring, selection and accommodation process

 

THE BUILD ENVIRONMENT

Rest rooms are able to accommodate wheelchairs

Main floor ground surfaces are all one level for those with mobility issues.May 2, 2024.

Braile signs have been added to the public restrooms, exit doors and restricted access doors

The access doors to the office building does not have automated access

Action:

Automate door openers for the main entrance

 

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

Closed captioning is available on all televisions in the reception/customer lounge area

Employees have the ability to enlarge or shrink the images on their computer screen to accommodate personal vision requirements

Software has the ability to audibly read what is on a computer screen for those with low visibility acuity. There are currently no concerns with existing staff or clients regarding ability to utilize technologies in the workplace.

Action:

Proactively research and provide a list of available resources should a need arise.
